My name is Carla Machado and I am for the first time in this adventure, I was very curious to know the existence of this community so here I am hoping to learn a lot and grow with you.

My country of origin is Portugal, I am 43 years old, married and have an 8-year-old son.
At the moment I am working on my own in the area of Sociocultural Animation with seniors. This was an area that I discovered much later when I was already in the world of work.
My background is quite varied since my basic training is a BA in Design and a postgraduate in Psycho Gerontology.
My interests are reading, fine arts and photography.
It was the area of photography that most interested me to connect with you.
I wish this to be the beginning of many events.

This photograph represents a magical place in Portugal, not far from Lisbon, called Ribeira do Cavalo, near Sesimbra (on the south bank of the river Tejo) about 40 km from Lisbon.
