Even thou probably has been explained scientifically how and why the red color effects the viewer to become so attracted to the object or why it evokes such an attraction towards the red object in the eyes of the viewer, for me it is still less logical and more connected to the more natural, inner urge or instinctual reaction towards the red color object. Maybe it has something with the color of the blood cause we all grew up in the womb surrounded by blood and get we also get born in blood. It is maybe the unconscious call for reconnecting with the physical source where we have descendent from. And it is not only in the human word. Many animals react on the bloody red. Nevermind, the shots are more important! Let us enjoy them...
