I did it! It felt so out of grasp. But then i was brave and made moves! I am currently feeling very good about my choices to power up like a madman since September. Feels good to get rid of that dirty fiat and trade it in for good clean HIVE POWER.
I’m pumped to be rewarding people better. It feels really good be able to spread more love around.
And as i do most all manual voting, I’ve been enjoying watching my curation and trying to understand better about vote effectiveness.
At the end of the Day, if this Butt likes your post, i dont care how ineffective my vote will be, i vote for what i like first and foremost. But just in general, im liking learning about being a smart effective voter too.
My HP wont stay at 100,000 HP exactly for long. But just look at that nice round wallet number. Fat and juicy 0 followed by 0, with a scrumptious little 1 to lead off. Yum Yum. Tasty HP!
Some may ask, what is that crazy Buttcoins thinking… well let me be completely transparent.
I believe in Hive. I believe that the HIVE blockchain experiment is creating a more fair relationship between the human user and the social media platform they choose… and that this is a worth while goal. I own Hive. I use Hive how i want to use it. In my case. Hive is my Digital Diary.
If nobody want to read or interact with my post. Thats fine. I do this for me! This is a record of my creative life. My thoughts, My Poems, My family Journey, my place to Butt around, just the way i want my stinky Butt to be!
If people want to read or watch my videos… Amazing! I’m happy to meet here on chain and exchange thoughts.
But the best part of HIVE is i expect nothing more from it than what im willing to give it. I give HIVE me. And my Posts become like fossils trapped in Amber. A place for me to go back and find my fragments of self.
This post will be my 479th post since September 2017. Hive gives me a place to store a self record. I’m sincerely Greatful.
I felt used by YouTube. By facebook, by instagram. It all feels like a big trick. Those fuckers will happily take my content away. if you look at the big ass legal mumbo corporate jumbo contract you agree to by signing up, they dont consider you content yours, it is their content as soon as you post it there.
Hive is mine. My ledger. People can downvote me to a negative rep and take away all my rewards. But my profile will remain. My Digital Diary will remain.
I dont understand what people dont get about HIVE. Sure there is bit of a learning curve if you want to get into every nook and cranny.
But it’s quite simple at its core.
Give what you want to Get
You want comments… then comment more
You want upvotes… then give upvotes (if your hp is low, give genuine feedback to others posts)
You just want to keep a record and butt around and not worry about upvotes or comments… then be the best Butt you can be
I encourage selfishness on Hive. Because true selfishness is always benevolent to other humans. Selfishness recognizes that we need others.
It took me many years to really understand this idea that to be of service to others is one of the fastest ways to be of service to self.
Hive is a perfect teeter totter to treat and be treated.
