Happy Mother's Day 💐❤️🌸🏵️🌷

In honor of today’s holiday, I decided to write a little text or something about a person who is like a jet engine, a kind of battery or even an explosion in our lives. And as you might have already guessed — it’s my mom, @olga.maslievich.
If it's not something you can say about everyone, then it’s absolutely true about her: she has poured (and continues to pour) her whole sincere and tender heart into her children. Throughout my entire life, my mom has always been by my side — not just physically, but in a truly open and deeply connected way. I have never felt like a stranger in my family. I can always come to my mom with any question, get advice, complain, and always receive support, encouragement, and help.
I don’t have secrets because I was never judged. In my family, I always feel relaxed, calm, and in total harmony. This is my real nest and safe haven. And all of that — is the work of my mom’s hands. It’s her who created this atmosphere over the years. I can honestly say that, in some ways, I have a healthy mind and psyche because of her. Even though there were not only sunny days in our family — there were storms too — I perceive everything in a healthy way.
I have no traumas or issues related to family. If there is anything truly solid and right in my life, it’s my family — and the root of this oasis is my mom. And for all of this, I’m deeply grateful and thankful to her.
In general, in our life, mom is our engine of progress and the creator of a healthy lifestyle. She always pushes us toward the right things. And you know what? I’m really happy that throughout my childhood I grew up with the example of sports, healthy eating, and good actions. I’ve developed good habits.
And just as importantly, there were never any strict bans in my family — so I never had any hidden desires to “cross the line,” pick up bad habits like smoking, doing something crazy while drunk, clubbing, drugs, etc. Maybe some people find that fun — but this is who I am, and I’m glad for it. Speaking of sports, my mom constantly nudges me toward working out and exercising. In fact, my mom is a wild fan of all kinds of physical activity — walking, running, exercising in nature, swimming, climbing mountains — and she always drags us along. To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of all that — I’m quite lazy.
But I realize that without her, I wouldn’t have seen new places, discovered new horizons, or moved at all. My mom is the one who doesn't let us stagnate or rot in our comfortable little swamp — she pushes us to grow and move forward. And I understand that, little by little, this kind of lifestyle is becoming my default. And the more I grow up, the more I realize just how important movement and physical activity are in our lives.
Now I consciously work out every day, and I understand that it was my mom who instilled this in me.
(I won’t leave my dad out of this either — my father has kept himself in amazing shape his whole life, running and swimming every day no matter the weather — winter or summer — and that’s also been a powerful example.)
And the point is — not all parents do this. I see many young people today who are completely inactive and living very unhealthy lifestyles that clearly won’t lead anywhere good. I now see how important the foundation that parents build is — and for that, I’m incredibly thankful to my mom.
My mom has also always been determined and persistent. Since her youth, she had health issues that doctors didn’t know how to treat. So she started looking for answers herself — reading books, studying internal causes, looking for natural remedies, experimenting, and achieving results. That kind of perseverance is such an amazing and admirable quality — even though it’s not my strongest side. Her experience, which she shares with us, is incredibly valuable.
And in general, the fact that my mom has managed to maintain her beautiful figure, posture, and — thank God — her health up to this day, is also truly admirable. Her strength and determination are inspiring and worthy of deep respect. And one more thing I want to say — I’m so glad I get to witness this unique connection of friendship and closeness between a mother and her children. I don’t know any other families where this kind of bond exists. That’s largely thanks to my mom, because she has always been open, sincere — and, most importantly — never a bore.
She’s always fun, always up for different types of activities and entertainment, and we get along so well.
We’re truly best friends, and it’s so cool to have fun together without any coldness or formalities between us. And in the end, I just want to say — we’re happy, Mom — @olga.maslievich — that you are exactly who you are. Please keep being our blazing rocket. 🙏🏻
Happy Mother’s Day.
