La semana pasada tuve una experiencia que aún me emociona. Tuve el honor de contar con la presencia del maestro Cristóbal, quien vino directamente desde Trinidad hasta Venezuela. Él es un artesano increíble ya que varios de los instrumentos que tocamos fueron fabricados por él mismo. Imagínense la emoción de tener frente a mí a la persona que dio vida a este instrumento, y además poder aprender de su conocimiento y su pasión.
Fue un encuentro que me dejó muchas enseñanzas y que reafirma lo importante que es mantener viva esta tradición musical.
Cada vez que comparto con ustedes en esta increíble familia me siento súper increíble y maravillado de que tantos artistas, no importa si estamos en diferentes lugares, estamos conectamos a través de las notas, de los ritmos y de la alegría que transmiten los temas.
Last week I had an experience that still excites me. I had the honor of welcoming maestro Cristóbal, who came directly from Trinidad to Venezuela. He is an incredible craftsman, as several of the instruments we played were made by him. Imagine the thrill of having the person who brought this instrument to life right in front of me, and also being able to learn from his knowledge and passion.
It was an encounter that taught me a lot and reaffirmed how important it is to keep this musical tradition alive.
Every time I share with you in this incredible family, I feel amazing and amazed that so many artists, no matter where we are, are connected through the notes, the rhythms, and the joy that the songs convey.
