Bright Bounty Program - Explainer

We are excited to announce the Bright Bounty program. The program will run across several phases with an emphasis on rewarding early supporters of the project.

We will be giving away 100,000,000 of our BRT utility tokens in total, spread across several bounty campaigns and competitions.

  • Special contains Bright initiatives including Competitions, Bug Bounties and Hackathons.
  • Reserved is a portion held back for a purpose that will be revealed at a later date! in this article we will concern ourselves with the Main Bounty.

Main Bounty — The Breakdown

Across the Main Bounty, we will be giving away 60,000,000 BRT, our network utility token. The Bounty itself will be split into two phases: Phase One and Phase Two.

Register on our website

In order to take part in the Program, you must register and then ‘verify’ your account. The steps to do so are as follows.

1.) Visit brightnetwork.io/bounty

2.) Register by signing up for a Bright Bounty account

3.) Next, you must verify your account in order to be eligible to receive stakes. You can currently do so using either Telegram or Twitter

Verification through Telegram will earn you 4 stakes whilst verification through Twitter will earn 2. Hunters are also free to verify via both platforms and will receive 6 stakes in total for doing so.

Verify using your Telegram account

1.) Join the main Bright Telegram channel here. If you are not a member of this channel you cannot become verified

2.) Next, open a direct messaging conversation with the Bright bot in Telegram. The easiest way to do so is by clicking ‘Learn more’ under the Telegram ‘Get Verified’ heading and then following the instructions link to the bot

3.) Send the bot the message: “/register”. If typed correctly the bot will respond to you asking for your email address. MAKE SURE TO USE THE SAME EMAIL THAT YOU REGISTERED YOUR BRIGHT BOUNTY ACCOUNT WITH

4.) Congratulations you are now verified! Return back to the Bright Bounty web page and refresh the page. You should see a tick appear as shown in the image below

Verify using your Twitter account

1.) First, you must follow @_brightnetwork](https://twitter.com/_brightnetwork) on Twitter

2.) On the Bright Bounty web page select the ‘Login with Twitter’ option under the heading ‘Get Verified’

3.) Authorise our Twitter app by clicking the ‘Authorise app’ button

4.) Congrats you are now verified! Check back on the Bright Bounty web page that a tick has appeared across the Twitter ‘Get Verified’ option as in the image below

What’s next?

If you have got this far you should now have registered to the Bright bounty and be verified, earning your first stakes. We are immensely grateful for your participation.

Now that you are verified you are able to earn Phase One Bounty stakes. The ways currently available to do so include:

  • Asking a thoughtful question on Telegram using the hashtag #askbright (6 stakes).
  • Asking a thoughtful question on Twitter using the hashtag #askbright (4 stakes).
  • Referring a friend to register and become verified in the Bounty (3 stakes).
