This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by
@thesocalhive where we share an aspect of our California.
There are a lot of fun places to visit in Southern California and my son and I did an overnight stay in Irvine to visit the Irvine Spectrum - an outdoor mall and entertainment area. We stayed in a local hotel and walked to the action. Here is the view from our hotel room:

We had dinner at Shake Shack (one of our favorites), which consisted of burgers, fries and a milkshake. We then went to Dave and Busters and play some games there for a while - a great visit to Irvine!
