Hello Steemians, today I wanna talk about parkour.

Parkour is the sport of moving along a route, typically in a city, trying to get around or through various obstacles in the quickest and most efficient manner possible, as by jumping, climbing, or running.
It was developed in France by Raymond Belle and completed by his son David Belle in the late 1980's and made popular in the late 1990's.
It's a direct descendant of free running.
The word parkour is derived from a French word "parcours du combattant". A practitioner of parkour is called a "traceur" or "traceuse" for a male and female respectively.

There are several books out there on parkour

It has several health benefits. It improves balance and spacial awareness also. It reduces the risk of falling over as one gets older.
Although it's one of the extreme sports, it'd be fun to practice it.
