Happy start of the new week!
I haven't done an airdrop post in a very long time, so I thought I'd share some light on what I'm doing in that sector at the moment. Also, I've decided to switch from longer, over 1000-word posts to shorter, ~500 posts so it'll be more easily consumed.
In this post, I've chosen a couple of free testnets to try out if you happen to be short on cash.
Humanity Protocol
According to
CryptoRank, Humanity Protocol has raised $50M in funding, which is a big amount and also one of the main reasons I choose which ones to farm. More funding = more to allocate to the community.
Humanity Testnet Beta is pretty straightforward farming: collect HP(Humanity Points) daily, refer friends, and link your social accounts to increase your multiplier.
Other things to do:
- Claim tHP from the faucet once every 72 hours
- Bridge from Sepolia testnet to Humanity and vice versa
MegaETH
This project has a lot more things to do. First, get some testnet tokens from the
MegaETH faucet and while there, be sure to read the guides on how to use MegaETH.
Like I said, there are a lot of things and apps to try out, which is why
Fluffle Tools is very handy site to help you navigate through MegaETH and all the applications.
Try swapping, trading & minting NFTs with different apps. You can also vote on these projects once you've connected to their
Discord.
MegaETH is a promising network, and interacting with their testnet is very easy, no mainnet ETH required in your wallet and no issues with the faucet.
Infinex
This one is very promising and the only one out of these three that I've deposited real assets into.
Infinex has raised $65M in funding, so in the vast sea of airdrops, this is probably something to pay attention to.
You can log in using your Google account to create an Infinex wallet. You can then fund your new wallet by depositing all sorts of assets from Ethereum addresses or from the Solana network.
After that, you can swap assets in your wallet across chains. For example, I had some $SOL lying around in one CEX, so I sent that to Infinex, where I then swapped it to $JUPSOL, which is a liquidity-staked token earning 9.99% APR.
There isn't much to do on Infinex, but I'm guessing just holding assets on there will count toward the airdrop as well as swapping activity and playing the Bullrun game(requires a deposit of $250). Also, there are some ongoing reward campaigns for holding certain tokens and Vaults are coming back up soon as well.
Conclusion
The airdrop scene is very diluted at the moment, and there are quite many out there. Since our time is limited, I'm planning on focusing on the most promising ones. Staying consistent and organised is also very important. Last year, I was doing way too many of these and lost track of some good ones that would have been pretty rewarding if I hadn't messed up.
This year, I'm using Google Sheets to monitor the ongoing airdrops while I dedicate one hour each day to farming and systematically go through all of them.
That's all for today, hope you found this helpful, and by the way, if you want this ā template, let me know in the comments and I'll share the link.
