Introduction
Hey all, how are all of you doing. I am back again to do a brawl report from the latest brawl that ended a days ago and improving my turnaround time between each brawl report. This report serves as a documentation of my past battles to allow me to learn better and find out the gaps in my collection that needs additional boost. Playing in a much stronger tier brawl had never been easy so I have to continue learning.
Let's get right on into the various matches.
Brawl Matches
Recently I have been cycling between both wild and modern fray. Haven't found what truly works for me so I will continue tinkering and see how each one works out. So let's dive in to the matches I had and do some reflections on how I can do better for next brawl.
Comment: A match that I prepared a martyr card to detonate in view of the noxious fumes ruleset. I didn't really have any good gladius card at my disposal so I just went with main set cards and hope they can sustain and do me well. An enhanced Oshannus and Nerissa is no easy feat to handle while opponent cards were killed by poison. A nice win.
Comment: Reverse speed match and I saw a monster to face in the Grum Flameblade that will be super hard to face. With Scavo Hireling, repairing, it would be tough for me. However, Antoid Platoon sustained on for Chinmey to land some big hits and reverse the match outcome. Another win to the tally.
Comment: Solo card on my opponent side, easy run down for me as I allowed Oshannus to soak her damage and tear it apart round by round. Simple win and 3rd win clocked. Not a bad brawl this is coming to.
Comment: I attempted to use martyr onto Oshannus and with Nerissa supporting while opponent used dual opportunity. While I had the big damage, when being swarmed, still not enough to sustain and I lost the match.
Remarks: I went for a high risk high reward kind of lineup and trying to see if it works. THe consistent blasting and whacking from my end actually did help. Another strong performance which armour did also assisted me winning.
Remarks: With no armour and the kind of lineup that my opponent put up, I knew this is a goner as my cards are all exposed as will be easily taken out. And it is so true when I see how my opponent's cards decimate my lineup one by one. Big loss that is so overwhelming
Brawl Results
I am assigned only 7 matches for this brawl of which I win only 5 out of the 7 matches with 2 additional free win from missing frays from other guild not filling up and 1 fled opponent. While I didn't really win sufficiently, again I came in on top for the guild with a good number of wins.
We manage to climb up from the 2nd last spot and become 3rd last. When I look at the number of wins, it is a little too much for us as we are less than half even for the 6th ranking. I think, we really need to get more people in.
Closing
We definitely need to do better in the brawl and we also need to gather more win as we are struggling for sure to get better placement. I will be working hard to improve my win rate as I continue battling and gathering more glint. Work definitely in progress to boost my collection to hope to get myself back on track.
