Introduction
Hey all, how are all of you doing, I hope all of you are doing great. I am back again to do a brawl report from the latest brawl that concluded about a days ago and glad that I am able to gather my thoughts and pen down the outcome of this brawl for my future learning from mistakes I made etc. This report serves as a documentation of my past battles to allow me to learn better and find out the gaps in my collection that needs additional boost. Playing in a much stronger tier brawl was never going to a walk in the park, hence there will be loads to learn and to be ready.
Let's get right on into the various matches.
Brawl Matches
Recently I have been cycling between both wild and modern fray. Haven't found what truly works for me so I will continue tinkering and see how each one works out. So let's dive in to the matches I had and do some reflections on how I can do better for next brawl.
Comment: I thought I had this match well covered until I see Alric. With Alric, Oshannus is a pain to handle due to it having even more fire power which is very tough to defend against. While I had my backline restoration planned, a much stronger lineup is hard to fight against. A real strong opponent. Loss for this match.
Comment: I planned for some melee reduction and put my Halfling Refugee at the back to cushion impact against potential big hitters. Ambush and the additional melee reduction actually worked well to allow me to survive and round and quickly clear out the big card at my opponent side. Way to go! Clocking a nice win!
Comment: Another boys vs men kind of match up. My opponent had almost anything that is hard to fight against. Be it attack be it taunting and dodging. Really not easy to handle. Gotta give it to my opponent whom have so many strong cards. However, low and behold, Captain Katie just wrecked my opponent and bring home a win for me.
Comment: High mana cost little league, I made a big blunder. I thought I have many cards with armour and included Scavo Hireling, but I didn't manage to get big value out of this card. And ended up, this match was a little wasted with opponent backline cards doing a lot of work.
Remarks: I lineup what I need in terms of even mana range attackers and I didn't had much in my arsenal which ended me having to put whatever I have. It was awful as I couldn't even do sufficient attack to the match and lost it badly.
Brawl Results
I am assigned only 5 matches for this brawl of which I win only 2 out of the 5 matches with 3 additional free win from missing frays from other guild not filling up and 0 fled opponent. Slightly better than the last brawl but not exactly fantastic result. Needs further works to improve for sure.
We manage to pull in one position and landed ourselves at rank 6 for the brawl. Win count wise is still not very desirable but considering the amount of people whom participated, I think we did fairly ok.
Closing
We definitely need to do better in the brawl, though I no longer end up with 0 wins for this one, more work has to be done. I will be working hard to improve my win rate as I continue battling and gathering more glint. Work definitely in progress to boost my collection to hope to get myself back on track.
See you next time when the new brawl ends!
