When Sunshine Meets Siberia: A Tale of Two Walks

Ever walked in weather so confusing that one side of your face gets a sunburn while the other side feels like it’s bracing for winter? That was today. The sky brought all the drama — dazzling sunshine, crisp clouds, and that sneaky cold wind that cuts right through your jacket like it owns the place.

Took full advantage of the daylight with not one but two strolls. First, a lunch break leg-stretcher where I thought, “Oh wow, summer’s here.” Ten minutes later? “Never mind, where’s my scarf?”
Round two came after dinner, soaking in that golden hour glow that makes everything look like it belongs in a painting. The canal mirrored the sky, the trees whispered in the wind, and even the boats seemed to cruise slower — like they knew this was a vibe.

By the end of it: 13 kilometers walked, 18,000 steps logged, and zero regrets. Nature showed off, I showed up, and that’s all that really matters.
