Blockchain Collectables - A new age of trading card games

Will the blockchain rebirth the value of collectables in the digital age?

The idea of "rare" is hard to consider in the digital age where everything digital can be copy and pasted hundreds of times, but just like every item duplication cheat of all time, when we have unlimited of the best thing, it quickly becomes not so great anymore.

But we can just copy paste it

Though we could always just photochopy a card, its not quite the same and was never really used as an argument against card collecting. Digital asset on the other hand, pose a major issue that would limit the rarity perception of an item or digital asset which was the hack factor. Since the data has a value that can be interpreted by the system, if you can manipulate that data you can manipulate the system.

Block-chain security

The blockchain offers a solution that both allows all transactions to be recorded but also gives information to how much of an asset exists and with quick trading allows for easy transfer of the collectable assets.

What can we collect?

We are not just bound to collecting cards, we may be collecting Avatars in the future as a possible Omni Avatar for all networks, maybe equipment, maybe models. Skins are already collected for games such as csGO which have given birth to a set of industries surrounding it such as Auction houses, Trading and csGO skin gambling websites that host everything from stock market sims like crash to roulette

When can we start?

There are currently a few different block-chain card games. one is a mobile card game called spells of genesis and another a blockchain collectible named rarepepe, and now there is a new set on the block using the etherium blockchain this time called curio cards. they are still in early days and their art and wallet could use some touching up but you can see your collection here There is currently only 1 set, there are going to be several sets in future with possibly animations and such. I think they can probably
