Found some new playable characters and understood, Ellie and Joel were not the last, there were more peoples around. I played as another lady, a totally new character whom I was not familiar with and she decided to take on a fight against Tommy's town but she was on her own.
The game started showing a small cabin with some people sleeping peacefully there; the cabin was covered in snow, and the overall graphic looked very realistic.
Then the cinematic part showed Abby, who was sleeping peacefully but suddenly woke up from a nightmare. She then got up as she couldn't sleep anymore.
Abby got out of her sleeping bag and saw Owen standing by the window. She then went forward to Owen.
Owen asked her what she was dreaming about as she was grinding her teeth. They both had a small laugh and then Abby asked where he had been. He didn't reply; instead, he told her to get ready and follow him.
Abby geared up and started following him. I was able to control Abby at that time. It was the first time I was able to control anyone else other than Elly or Joel. Anyway, I continued following that man.
The sun wasn't fully out, yet they continued walking. I had no idea where we were going. We jumped over a fence and started walking forward. Then we faced a small space between two rocks and crossed it very easily.
I was wondering why he was exploring that area all by himself at that time. And where he was taking me, while following him, I came to a place where I saw a small waterfall, and it looked so much more real. I jumped and crossed that waterfall.
I went to explore the waterfall and saw that there was an even bigger waterfall. The water was running down really deep, water was splashing on the rocks, and the water sprinkles were looking like clouds.
That really was a mesmerizing view. Anyway, I continued following him, overtook some obstacles, walked through a very edgy cliff, and was about to fall.
After walking for a while and overcoming some obstacles , we saw a big town. It was the town where Joel and Kelly lived. It had lights and everything. From a distance, it looked really perfect.
Abby was stunned to see that town; that town was like a small city. Abby asked Owen if he had told anyone else about that place; he replied negatively.
Then Owen showed Abby an outpost where he saw an armed patrol, and there were a few more outposts like that in that area. Owen asked what she was going to do now as there were too many people. Abby gave the idea that they should take control of one of the outposts and then find a way to lure Joel out.
Owen said that his girlfriend was pregnant; that's why he was tense about the plan. But Abby was determined with her plan then she got angry at Owen, and Owen left her be.
I started going towards the outpost Owen just showed as Abby wanted to take control of it all by herself. I kept running and jumped to cross a cliff. And yeah, she's on her own now.
