It's Friday today and I fast on Fridays and because of my obligations I'm thinking about what to make quickly but to fill me up. I remembered this simple recipe.

This meal requires only 2 ingredients: - 3 potatoes

  • 1 Onion
  • Salt or vegetables to taste
  • Sunflower oil for frying

I cut the onion into small cubes

I peeled the potatoes and grated them on a coarse grater

In order to prevent the potatoes from falling apart during frying, it is necessary to drain the excess water from the potatoes. Then I took cheesecloth and put the potato in it and squeezed it with my hand and squeezed the liquid out of the potato.

I poured oil into the pan. I heated the oil and put the onion to fry until golden.

When the onion turns golden, add the grated potatoes and combine with the onion. I then took the pan off the stove and formed the mass. Then I put the pan back to sear.

During frying, I divided the mixture into smaller parts so that they could be turned to the other side and fried more easily.

Towards the end of frying, pour salt over the meatballs and fry a little more so that the potatoes absorb the salt

I served the meal with one hot pepper.

I like the meatballs to be darker, so I fried them longer. You can fry for a shorter time.
This amount of meatballs is enough for two people
You can add whatever spices you want. This can also be served with sauce. Be creative and you can prepare a beautiful lunch.
Thank you for reading. Greetings until the next meeting. 🤗
