With small but sure steps, spring is settling permanently into our lives. Like all seasons, this fleeting season is remarkable because it reminds us of rebirth—the rebirth of nature after winter and, metaphorically, the revival of each of us after a difficult moment when we have lost hope.

A walk I took a few days ago in Circus Park, a park in Bucharest that has now become my favorite, impressed me with another aspect of spring: the colors.

#
After a winter without color, ashen due to the many trees that have lost their leaves, now the first colors are beginning to appear, rather timidly but determinedly, given by the young leaves, buds, and flowers of those trees in a hurry to come out of hibernation.

#
The beautiful sunny weather gets people out and about in the parks and gardens.

Like you who post in this community, I love the walk and apply it consistently and regularly. I often wonder why I do it, what compels me to walk long distances to get to a particular park.

#
Beyond the classic benefits of movement, especially movement in nature, which are health maintenance and a search for air free from the usual pollution of cities, there is more.

#

#
Well, I think one of the main reasons for walking in parks is to see the beauty of nature. Parks are like nature museums in our increasingly crowded cities.

#
There is also a nostalgia for the childhood many of us spent in the countryside, where nature was everywhere.

#
More than just nature, we now have wildlife in parks. Wild birds that aren't wild anymore.

Parks are a great gift; they are a small piece of nature, a changed nature, with apartment blocks.
I always start with photos when I want to write a blog. Photos remind me of places, events, and feelings that turn into words.
A wise saying goes that an image is worth a thousand words.
Everything depends on the beholder.
Make a point of looking around and up to see what you can find to get shots of that; otherwise, you may miss it.
This is one of the recommendations made by @tattoodjay for those who prefer walking and are used to sharing impressions and photos in his community, Wednesday Walk, every Wednesday, like this one today.
