Spring reminded me of the flowers in the botanical garden. Spring is the best time to spend wonderful moments in a botanical garden. The flowers are many, and you can see in them the joy of being, all fresh and bright and grateful to the earth, the sun, the warmth, and the rain.
The botanical garden in Iasi, Romania, is a dream to get lost in, passing from flower to flower. You need many hours to see everything, and you need a lot of storage space for photos, because it's hard to make a selection, and then you photograph everything.
I stumbled across photos from one of my visits to the botanical garden—several hundred photos! Initially, I thought of writing a monster blog about that day spent in nature, something big and much. Then I changed my mind, something normal for me, because it would have been tiresome, both for the writer and the reader.
Three Tune Tuesday
I remembered that I hadn't included music in my blogs for a very long time. Music is a passion, and it is in my life—the music of others who are gifted with this grace and talent. I was ashamed that I ignored music for so long, and I promised myself that at least once a week, I would post something that I like, generally something old, like me.
This time, I chose songs referencing flowers, which are random and don't reflect my true preferences. I'll be more specific next week.
Back to flowers.
The abundance of photos gave me a lot to choose from, and I even stopped at flowers of the same species or family. Today's flowers are lilies!
Humans have seen more than just a plant; we have endowed each flower with different human symbols and insignia.
Thus, the lily symbolizes hope, faith, birth, purity, renewal, promise, passion, chastity, innocence, fertility, motherhood, etc.
I always start with photos when I want to write a blog. Photos remind me of places, events, and feelings that turn into words...
I like music as much as I like photos, but there is a difference: the photos are mine, while the music is not! That explains why I use music less in my blogs, although I listen to music when I write them. Still, I love music so much, and I would love to share my favorites with you, but I know that everyone has their preferences, and unless they have a curious nature, they don't want to know about others.
