Die Aktie war ja kein wirklicher Highflyer an der Börse, die Kurse gingen immer weiter nach unten. Das Geschäftsmodell funktionierte nicht mehr wirklich. Aber dann kam Wallstreetbets. Bei Reddit wurde darauf gesetzt, dass man den Kurs massiv nach oben bringen kann. Viele Investoren, eben auch große waren massiv short in der Aktie. Wenn der Kurs nun aber durch gezielte Käufe nach oben getrieben würde, müßten diese Short-Positionen glatt gestellt werden. Dh. weitere Käufe, ein sogenannter Shortsqueeze.

Und ja, wie man am Chart sieht die Aktion war mehr als erfolgreich. Der Kurs schoss nach oben. Fiel dann aber auch schnell wieder nach unten. Danach kam es nochmals zu einem ordentlichen Anstieg und wieder ging es danach auch schnell wieder nach unten. Zocken eben.

Seit dem dümpelt der Kurs so vor sich hin. Aktuelle Geschäftszahlen sind auch nicht berauschend. Siehe den Bericht hier: GAMESTOP - Nun muss es der BITCOIN richten!

Was also tun? Naja, man könnte es ja "Strategy" nachmachen und in Bitcoin investieren. Da läuft das ja bekanntlich sehr gut. Ob diese Strategy wirklich aufgeht wird sich zeigen. Ich bin da etwas skeptisch.
