Welcome, in this post we share another creative tool that joins the Fam there is already 7 printers 5 FDM and 2 resin printers (3 out of the 5 FDM are fully functional at time of writing but we bring them all back online soon hopefullyš¤£)
Anyway this thing is called the cricut maker 3 it is a pretty neat machine not a huge profile but a fair bit of capabilities, you can switch out the tools and even load in markers to have it draw or write for you, as well as cutting all sort of materials
I have already did a fair bit of work with it and got a bunch of stuff for it but I can't be doing all that in one post I don't get down like that.
I will share a mid point of a project right bellow is a picture of a plastic binder divider I tried to cut into a QR code.
I had a lot more failure then that, I started with some foam material but it was getting torn up or not cutting all the way through and it was ruining the sticky mat the materials goes on .
This machine is pretty east but there is still a learning curve and you have to know what setting and compatibilities it has with the materials you are working with, but after dealing with 3d printers for all this time this things feels like a breeze.
I ended up getting success with the QR code stencil, right above the cutting was a success but I fumbled the scanability, but that is all for another post or 2, it is not even about making it stretch there is just a lot that I can go into, that would not just tell you about what I did but how you can do it too, you don't need a machine too with some elbow grease you can make your own by hand however you would at least need a regular printed paper with the qr code to use as a cutting guide
Anyway, I will be sharing more cool project, and I am looking forward to incorporating it into my creative workflow as well as expanding my creative offerings
