There are so many things that God wants us to do but didn’t put it in the Ten Commandments. At the same time, a commandment may not be written in a direct way for us to understand. It may be written in a different way and you’ll be the one to give meaning to it by yourself.
Even though this is not one of the Ten Commandments, it is one of the commandments of God for men to do good unto their fellow men.
We can help everybody and anybody even though that person is not a member of the church. I’ve met some people who say that they can only render help to their fellow church member but that’s not what God asked us to do.
What the Lord asked us to do is love everyone, help them and do good unto them.
Galatians 6:10 says; As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
So when you have food to share, share it with someone who doesn’t have. Just like Jesus Christ shared five loaves of bread and two fishes amongst five thousand fishes.
This doesn’t mean that all of them will be filled up. It only means that he wants to share with everyone and that the bread and fishes gets to each of them. The aim of Jesus Christ was to make sure that the fishes and bread gets to everyone.
As humans, we are obliged to help one another. Some people don’t help because they feel they wouldn’t get it from somewhere else so they want to stay wicked.
Regardless of who renders you help or not, when you see anyone who needs your help and you feel you are in the right position to render such help, please do.
That’s why we are on earth. To help one another.
