Hello everyone

I bring you all a warm and pleasant greetings on this day and I hope you are all doing great, it's a beautiful and lovely day for me today to share with you with all pleasure the cutting and sewing process of this cute, simple and easy organizer I made for myself for the safe keeping of my pen using pieces of left over fabric.
I do much love making beautiful and useful items with pieces of fabrics that ought to have been thrown away but I put it in to good use, this is why I thought to myself after seeing my pen scattered in various places, sometimes I had to search almost all my purse and hand bag before I could get a pen to use, so I decided to make this organizer purposely for the safe keeping of my pen and it was kept in an open place where I could easily reach it for use.

This tutorial can also be useful for you as well, join me in the cutting and sewing process below.

I cut out a single piece of fabric of 12 x 8" with an interfacing ironed on it and same shape of lining was cut out as well.
The lining was placed on the right side of the main fabric and I sew on the both sides of the 8"
It was opened up and I placed lining to lining and fabric to fabric.
I sew on both sides leaving an opening on the lining where it can be turned inside out.
On the 4 corner, I measured 1" on each side and it was cut out
The 4 edges were sewn together just as seen below
It was turned inside out and the opening on the lining was sewn together
The lining was inserted in and I top stitched round the top of it
To make it balance, I measured 1.5" from the side towards the left and right and i held it with a clip, which was sewn downward on all sides.

Finally, I had my pen of different colors well arranged in it.

I hope you like the beautiful outcome of my organizer for my pen, I do much love how nice it looks.

Thanks so much for your time, support, comment and encouragement. Until my next post. Do have a great day.
