Good morning fellow Hive netizens! As always, I'm sharing my work with you. Today I have a shirt guard or flannel, transforming the most traditional garment into a sportswear item.

Paso nro 1
Paso nro 1
Begin by marking the sides of the shirt's front panel with the pattern; for this, use the gray fabric. Use the blue fabric to make the front and center of the shirt; mark and cut both the front and back pieces. The white fabric is for decorating the front. For that part, cut thin strips to make two bias strips.

Now I'll move on to sewing, but first the middle part of the flannel, which is the blue piece. I sewed the two bias strips in white, and to make the detail visible, I sewed the bias strips by placing wool yarn or twine inside the bias strip, making the detail stand out. Then continue sewing the sides of the gray fabric.

Continue sewing the back part, in the same color as the front but without the detail it has.

Now it's time to sew the two pieces of the tank top together, first sewing the shoulder seams and then the side seams. Finally, I sewed on the blue bias binding for the neck and arms, and I also hemmed the bottom. And that's how this sporty tank top turned out.

Aunque es un poco más de trabajo se puede notar la diferencia a pesar que es una prenda sencilla al colocarle los detalles, se ve muy bien para usar como prenda deportiva... Espero les guste y la recreen... Hasta la próxima oportunidad 😘
Although it takes a little more work, you can really see the difference. Even though it's a simple garment, adding the details makes it look great as sportswear... I hope you like it and recreate it... Until next time 😘
