The second step during the assembly of the instrument is to get the combination of sound board and neck on the solera mould. When we do, we add the wooden squares around the perimeter of the sound board. We also fix the whole thing to the mould using some wooden jigs. The next step is to prepare the end block. We need to cut it and smooth both sides. Then, we give it a bevel on each end on the side that will go towards the inner part of the instrument.
Finally, we glue it in place!
