Greetings friends #Hive and @silverbloggers community, I wish you a blessed and prosperous 2026, full of love, health, and prosperity, and that all your plans and goals for this new year come true; this is my entry for **The Silverbloggers Chronicles - Prompt #28 Your favorite person while growing up**.

During my childhood I had many favorite characters, but I will mention one of them, although he is not part of my family, he is one of the most significant, during my studies in school and in high school.

This is about our teacher and professor Ana, who was dedicated, selfless, and caring towards the students. She used a very different teaching methodology, and I think this is what attracted the group of students. We always wanted to be near her, asking questions and paying attention to her explanations. To change things up, she gave classes under some mango trees. Although for many it might be distracting, it worked very well for her. We would sit under the trees to listen to her explanations and enjoy the breeze. I think this change of scenery was a great help to all of us, because we got out of the everyday routine and were outdoors.

She also organized snack time, which was a favorite for many, including me. These snacks included a delicious glass of cold milk with a slice of cake. The next day it might be a filled bun, arepas, or empanadas. She always tried to make sure each snack was different, and the children loved snack time; it was the most anticipated by everyone, especially when it included something sweet.

She was my teacher for two years. Besides being very caring, she taught very well. I remember that in fourth grade we learned the map of Venezuela with all its states. As for the multiplication tables, which were one of the most difficult subjects, she made them very simple so that we could progress.

When I moved on to fifth grade, I studied at a different school, and to my surprise, I ran into her again at the high school. I was so happy to see her and to learn that she was going to be my teacher. She had a degree in Spanish and literature and had spectacular pronunciation. Many of her students wanted to speak like her and pronounce the letters V and B correctly, so that they could be distinguished just by listening, and the same with the letters M and P, among others.

I was so happy to have her classes again. The level was more demanding at the high school, but her teaching strategies and pedagogy remained the best. Although some grades at the Spanish-language high school were boring, with Professor Ana it was different. The methodology she used allowed us to learn and progress. Most of the students wanted to participate in class, both to learn and, of course, to earn participation points. She was a great teacher who motivated and inspired many of her students to want to learn and pronounce words correctly. She was the kind of person who becomes an inspiration and a role model. I still remember her fondly and many of her lessons.
