I'm continuing with sewing projects for my family, and this time it's underwear. The project I'm sharing is a crop top in turquoise and blue. It's the first time I've used this color combination, and it really looks great. A pastel color paired with a dark color is an excellent combination, and both stand out beautifully. The front is turquoise with blue straps, and the back is entirely blue. I used the beading technique, which, besides achieving a neat finish, hides the seams. In this case, four pieces are cut: two for the front and two for the back. To assemble the pieces, the bottom has an elastic with turquoise polka dots. I invite you to join me in the sewing process.
Hola, hola amigos amantes de las agujas y los hilos, deseo que tengan una excelente semana que el nuevo y que el nuevo mes venga cargado de grandes bendiciones para cada familia y hogar, continúo con la elaboración de proyectos de costura para mi familia y en esta ocasión es el turno de la ropa íntima, el proyecto que comparto es un crop top, en color turquesa y azul; es la primera vez que hago esta combinación de colores y realmente se ve muy bien, un color pastel con un color oscuro es una excelente combinación y ambos resaltan, en la parte delantera tiene color turquesa y los tiros son de color azul y la parte trasera es totalmente azul, utilicé la técnica del embonado que aparte de lograr un acabado prolijo, las costuras quedan ocultas y en este caso se cortan cuatro piezas dos delanteras y dos posterior, para ensamblar las piezas, en el bajo lleva un sesgo elástico con moritas de color turquesa, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.

With the shoulders closed, I proceeded to join the sides, facing the front and back. It is important here that the armhole seams match in the center. I pinned it and also passed a straight stitch. I like to double-stitch to give more strength to the initial seam.

Once the top was assembled, the next step was to glue the bias tape. Since it has a small pattern, I placed it with the right side of the bias tape facing the right side of the fabric. This way, when turned right side out, the soft side of the bias tape faces down. I sewed with a decorative stitch, stretching one (1) centimeter of bias tape every five (5) centimeters. The bias tape is glued with the small patterns or embellishments facing down, so that when turned right side out, these are on the outside and also serve as decoration for the top.
Then I turned the bias tape inside out, making sure the blackberries were facing outwards and sewed it using decorative stitch again. With these simple steps, a comfortable crop top is finished.
Ensamblado el top, el siguiente paso fue pegar el sesgo , como es de moritas lo coloqué enfrentando el derecho del sesgo con el derecho de la tela, así al voltear queda la parte suave del sesgo hacia abajo, cosí con puntada decorativa estirando un (1) centímetro de sesgo cada cinco (5) centímetros, el sesgo se pega con las moritas o adornos hacia abajo, para que al voltear estas queden afuera y además sirven de decoración al top.
Luego volteé el sesgo por el revés, verificando que las moritas queden hacia afuera y cosí usando nuevamente puntada decorativa, con estos sencillos pasos está terminado un cómodo crop top.
