My expectations are based on observing and identifying the changes in this environment where I usually travel.
It may seem boring or monotonous but it is interesting to make discoveries.
In two, three, or four hours I go up the mountain to sit and contemplate. I breathe consciously, close my eyes, ask God to enlighten me, open my eyes and my pupils immediately clear.
From that moment on, my thoughts begin to invade my head. The place where I started the tours is no longer the same. Everything has changed in a volatile way.
The mountains vary their colors depending on the time of year. I was used to witnessing these natural changes. However, in these times I have noticed those changes but intentionally provoked by the hand of man.
What do you get to see in the same place all the time? my daughter once asked.
I get to see my nature, my inner self. I get to see human cruelty, how little we value the environment that gives us life.
I see the color of the mountains, when the rain starts, they are green covered with multiple colors. When it is summer, they are opaque, golden in some parts, crisp, dry? But, when they have changed their course, they dress in black.
Las montañas varían sus colores según la época del año. Ya estaba acostumbrada a presenciar esos cambios naturales. Sin embargo, en estos tiempos he notado esos cambios pero provocados intencionalmente por la mano del hombre.
¿Qué logras ver en el mismo lugar todo el tiempo? Preguntó una vez mi hija.
Logro ver mi naturaleza, mi yo interno. Logro ver la crueldad humana, lo poco que valoramos el medio que nos regala vida.
Veo el color de las montañas, cuando inicia la lluvia son verdes cubiertas de múltiples colores. Cuando es verano, son opacas, doradas en algunas partes, crujientes, secas... Pero, cuando le han cambiado su curso se visten de negro.

Overpopulation in the country's capital breeds chaos. Venezuela has had a tropical climate but now it is affected by climate change.
In the mountains I breathed fresh air but already in some low areas the pollution is felt. The roads stopped being dirt, now they are paved. How sad!
What is missing in this country rich in natural beauties? Will government be needed?
No crean que no se siente nostalgia. Tan solo han transcurrido cinco años y ya la población en la zona ha crecido. Hay espacios que dejaron de ser verdes.
La superpoblación en la capital del país genera caos. Venezuela ha tenido clima tropical pero ahora se ve afectada con el cambio climático.
En la montaña respiraba aire fresco pero ya en algunas zonas bajas se siente la contaminación. Las carreteras dejaron de ser de tierra, ahora son asfaltadas ¡Cuanta tristeza!
¿Qué hace falta en este país rico en bellezas naturales? ¿Hará falta gobierno?
It takes, it takes education and awareness. We need interaction. We need to understand that we are destroying the environment and that the worst consequences are suffered by the animals.
These days I have seen a great number of marsupials like the Rabipelado, dead in the middle of the highways or in the mountain roads.
Marsupials with their young are run over by vehicles or savagely beaten or simply flee through fires. Those who believe that animals are not necessary on the planet are mistaken.
Conscience gentlemen, conscience is what is lacking. Enough of so much mistreatment, enough of so much ignorance. We already perceive and suffer the impact of our actions.
Hace falta, hace falta educación y consciencia. Hace falta interacción. Hace falta entender que estamos destruyendo el medio ambiente y que las peores consecuencias la sufren los animales.
Estos día he visto un gran cantidad de marsupiales como el Rabipelado, muertos en medio de las carreteras o en los caminos de la montaña.
Marsupiales con sus crías son atropellados por vehículos o golpeados salvajemente o simplemente huyen por los incendios. Quienes crean que los animales no son necesarios en el planeta están bien equivocados.
Consciencia señores, consciencia es lo que falta. Basta de tanto maltrato, basta de tanta ignorancia. Ya se perciben y sufrimos el impacto de nuestros actos.
