So today's the day we officially move to our new apartment. In a few hours, we'll go meet the letting agency to get the keys and we'll, the apartment is ours after that.
I've already packed most of our clothes and for what it's worth, they constitute a big portion of our possession. When we get our keys, we'll sign some documents and then start creating our vision of the apartment immediately.
The initial action will be to get all our bags through the day. I'll also be moving the television there. We've scheduled furniture to be brought in from IKEA but that comes in tomorrow, so that's fine.
We'll try to get some of the smaller electronics that we'll need as well. A microwave, an air fryer and vacuum cleaner for the carpet in the room which I must add is a nice touch because it keeps it warm. We'll ensure we don't eat food there.
My wife pulled an all nighter but luckily for us, our new apartment is on the same route she takes to work. So we've created a simple plan where I take the bus she usually takes to work and we'll meet up at her bus stop.
Overall, I'm very excited about this move and I can't wait to start living there. I'm obviously grateful for where we began but now life starts and we're going to have fun living in this new environment.
