When I first joined steemit a wee while ago, I had no idea what I wanted to do here, I was just looking so to speak. At the time I was nearly put off steem for life :) however I carried on just voting for a while until I found my feet, one of the most notable experiences I went through back then was I refused to do the verification thing, I wasn't here for anything other than to see what it was all about, and even then I had no plans to write or anything, to my mind I saw no point in verifying, however in the time since I have thought many times of just leaving steem it wasn't until I found ssg community that I finally found a group of people that were brilliant and gave me a reason to stay, it is still the only reason I stay on steemit, my writing is something I do because I can I do not identify as an author, my reason for being here, for staying here, is the wonderful friendly and most nonjudgemental group I have met here, and they like seeing my treasure :) ssg community is the only reason I like steem so I decided I now see a reason for verification, well in my own style :) I am not going to stand there with a daft piece of paper with the date on it, if it helps any the photos were taken with my iphone3 on tuesday just gone before I was ill yesterday :) so here I am formally verifying and introducing myself to the wonderful ssg community so you can finally put a face to the name :) without further ado this is my animation verification:
I also thought that some of you may be interested in the creative process that goes into my silver art so I made a quick little video of my sketch book well a small part of it, the bit I will show is the most relevant bit as it has my sketches and ideas for my next piece of silver art. As some of you may know I love Batman :) with my special obsession being the joker played by Heath Ledger, consequently the next two pieces I plan to do along with some skull ideas I sketched, is what you will see here, today I am hoping to start on the batman.

So first I sketch ideas, I have to bear in mind working with silver is expensive, and when I get round to selling these pieces I need to work within the size and price of finished piece. Most of the pieces will be around an inch by maybe an inch and half big, as this works best considering price, I also have a love for detail, so in each tiny piece I need to fit as much of my design and the detail I can, for some designs of mine I am learning engraving and have invested in some diamond tips but that is in the future, for now the batman piece I will first take a piece an inch square and then carve the details of my design onto it, it takes a long time and requires patience and a bloody good magnifying glass :) This batman piece is my own design though obviously in the popular style, I have no idea how it will turn out but I will show you the finished piece soon as it is ready, it's all a learning experience and a lot of fun :)
