My favorite quote is: Do to others what you want them to do to you
The Golden rule
There are diverse meanings attached to this quote but I'm going to explain it from my own perspective.
It's indeed the golden rule and in my experience I've been treated just as much as I treat others.
When I'm kind to my friends and family, strangers are kind and harmless to me.
When I rudely attack my friend, someone who was never there when I insulted my friend would attack me unknowingly and I'll feel bad.
When I pray fervently, I see doors of favor opening to my every request.
So I try as much as possible to do good, stay away from trouble and love my neighbor as myself.
In doing so I've always been lucky in all my dealings. The rare times I was unlucky, I tagged it to a short while ago I must have treated someone unjust knowingly or unknowingly.
So there you have it my, favorite quote.
