A Heartwarming Reunion: Sharing Joy and Spiritual Growth
I'm still beaming with excitement as I reflect on the unforgettable experience I shared with my dear friend from Faith Thomas from Abuja, who visited Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Nigeria, to attend a wedding. Our reunion was a beautiful reminder of the power of friendship and the importance of nurturing meaningful relationships.
On March 1st, 2025, I had the pleasure of meeting up with my friend at the Deeper Life Christian Bible Church, located behind A.Y Shafa Filling Station, Akwanga. I was accompanied by three of my friends and mentees,
@donvic,
@donvic and Innocent tarajo who were equally thrilled to meet her. As we arrived at the church, I could feel the excitement building up inside me. We had been looking forward to this reunion for weeks, and finally, the moment had arrived.
As we reunited, the joy was palpable! We exchanged warm hugs, and I couldn't help but notice the bright smile on my friend's face. We took some wonderful photos together, capturing the essence of our friendship. The laughter, the jokes, and the memories we shared in those few moments are etched in my mind forever.
Before parting ways, I gave her four spiritual/motivational books to inspire her journey and nurture her faith. I had carefully selected these books, knowing how much they would mean to her. As I handed them over to her, I could see the gratitude in her eyes. It was a small gesture, but one that spoke volumes about our friendship.
As she headed off to the wedding reception at JK Palms, Wamba Road, Akwanga, I felt grateful for the opportunity to reconnect and share in each other's lives. We promised to stay in touch and make plans to meet up again soon. As I watched her leave, I couldn't help but feel thankful for the gift of friendship.
This experience reminded me of the importance of nurturing friendships and investing in meaningful relationships. In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in our busy lives and neglect our friendships. But reunions like this one remind us that friendships are worth fighting for.
As I reflected on our reunion, I realized that true friendships are built on a foundation of love, trust, and mutual respect. They require effort and commitment to nurture and grow. But the rewards are well worth it – a sense of belonging, a support system, and a deep understanding of one another.
As I look back on our reunion, I'm reminded of the power of friendship to transform our lives. It's a reminder that we're not alone in this journey, that we have people who care about us, support us, and encourage us to be our best selves.
Hmmmm, I'm sharing this now because i woke up to what she wrote about me and our meeting and i quote " I think it is quite unfair to secretly admire and learn from people without giving them their flowers.
This is one man who wears many hats perfectly.
A TEACHER, an APOSTLE, a MENTOR to many and more.
I celebrate your love for God.
I celebrate you for being intentional with every of your actions.
I celebrate your personality.
I celebrate your passion for the kingdom and how you put in so much to make sure your generation knows Jesus.
So, I was in Akwanga and he came around. Let's say as a wedding guest too.
He didn't just come around,
He brought books.
So Incase you don't see me frequently; I'm buried with my educational materials.
Thank you for humility and access MOG. Today is not his birthday.
I just choose to celebrate Him.Great Grace Sir, Liman Ayaka"
