Hive was introduced to our class by our instructor. It was my first time hearing about this platform. In our course syllabus, he included this learning outcome:
Furthermore, this course also explores the integration of Hive blockchain technology for collaborative learning, documentation and digital engagement in a decentralized platform.
This is something new for me. And then he talked about tribes. That's the time he introduced the Tentmakers and Cent. I subscribed to both of them.
He said Hive is just like Facebook, but with a twist. He talked about voting power and incentivization. He promised to send me 5,000 CENT for a start, and that is why I could power up 1,029 CENT ten hours ago.

All in all, I powered up 2,203 CENT. I now have 5,000 CENT power as promised by my instructor.
