A walk from the heights with plenty of sunshine.

When the sun shines high and embraces me with its warmth, walks in the open air are energising and much more enjoyable.

I love the sun, above all because it is very good for health, because it is energy, it gives vitality and always a walk in its company, enjoying its rays on my face, recharges vitality.
All climates, all seasons have their charm, I like to see the beauty in each of them, no matter if the day is cloudy, rainy, there will always be something beautiful in it. But the sunny days, which are the majority around here, I enjoy them very much.

And I have learned that the sun is different in different parts of the world. When I arrived a friend said to me: Have you noticed that the sun in the south of Spain is brighter? I said yes, and it's amazing. And it doesn't burn as much as in Argentina, where you get charcoal. It feels friendlier to the skin and even the air is lighter, even if it's 38 degrees.
We are already in spring and the weather is changing very slowly, the change is very gradual and that is very good. A walk from a certain height seeing nature, sea, palm trees, the lighthouse, and much more seemed ideal for this beautiful day.

You know I love to pay attention to details, like this sculpture dedicated to the immigrants, where I can see through it the landscape.

And very close to that sculpture a roundabout signals the proximity of the yacht club, where I was also able to capture the tourist bus taking a ride. All year round there is tourism in the city, it is impressive.

I headed down a narrow road on one side of the streetlight promenade until I reached the lighthouse, I always like to see it and admire it, I love lighthouses, I always think of them as guiding the navigator, and we navigate in life, a lighthouse is always needed.

Once I reached the end of that road and the lighthouse, I started the way back, the other way round, the other way round as I do on all my walks, from the lighthouse to the beginning of that beautiful walk I came across children's playgrounds, greenery, sea views, restaurants and fast food places, but above all a lot of beauty.

I like the fact that there are spaces for children to play as well as for adults to exercise, it's something I see everywhere and I think it's a great idea for the city and the well-being of the population.

Certain details like this lamp catch my eye in the restaurants in this tourist area.

And if I look towards the sea side it always creates a great view with some yacht or cruise ship that has brought tourists.

On the promenade there are a lot of bushes, plants, flower beds and I like to play with them in my photographs, and I learn about how a photograph looks in focus, trying and trying leads to learning. So I come out of my walks with a bit more wisdom.

My eyes are mostly fixed on the distant buildings like the cathedral and I can't get enough of this view.

Nor do I tire of this other view of the lighthouse, but in the distance.

In this place we can find, as I mentioned, very luxurious and beautiful restaurants, but also fast food stalls and there is always someone shopping.

In front of them there are spaces with seats and vegetation, ideal for drinking mate. I know, I always think of mate... and cats.

There are decorations with all natural plants with very good taste and design.

I like to walk and look through the surrounding streets and I could see the sea in the distance, but on the other side of the buildings.

Also, as you know, I like to look at the path I have walked, even though the sun was shining on my camera. A tip I use is to look for a shadow, even a small one, and that the camera is right in the shadow so that the sun doesn't block the view.

All along the route, which is quite long, there are palm trees.

And those palm trees together with other vegetation are hiding certain constructions that serve as ventilation for the shops that are underneath this promenade.

But again the sight of the sea called out to me, it always does.

Continuing the walk I see the upper part of the first chapel, very small, which belonged to the port, it is very old and beautiful because of its history. As I get closer I can see it completely.

Further on there is a large playground for children and teenagers, with big and varied games. I could see several of them in the place and parents accompanying them. I love to see children playing and not behind a mobile phone or computer screen. But enjoying the outdoors, that's great.

Everywhere there were people doing the same as me, taking advantage of a sunny day by going for a great walk.

And down below, a crowd of people on pier one.

More than the crowds of people I like these green spaces, I've always liked them. To spend some time in the shade of a tree, paying attention to what is going on around me.

And of course, how could it be otherwise, to finish this spectacular walk with some art. Everyone can see different figures or perhaps through the same artwork.
Thank you very much for joining me on this Wednesday walk. I send you my best regards. See you soon.
Amonet.
