# My least playingiest season yet - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 70 Report Card

Hi everyone!

I had major, major disruptions to my life (moved and in the process of changing jobs) so my Splinterlands time was truly minimal up until a couple of days ago. For the first time in a long time, I had days or weeks where my energy was sitting at 50.

Weirdly though, looking at the stats I think I only played 40ish games less than last season so I might have got more in than I realized. Stress if a funny thing.

Yesterday I decided to pull all my Splinterlands assets out of LPs and spend it on Conclave Arcana instead. It might be a very foolish plan, especially if the flywheel starts spinning, but I'm banking on the Conclave Arcana set basically holding its value similarly to Rebellion, and all the extras (presale cards, airdrop cards, presale raffle, etc) making it worth it, alongside the Glint I'll be able to earn in Modern with both a full set of Rebellion and Conclave Arcana.

I've set up one Magical Land Plot to produce 55 Midnight potions a day, and so I've purchased:

100 Alchemy packs (to use the potions on, I think I'll have about 500 by May 11th)
10 Legendary packs
2000 Standard packs
7,433 Alchemy potions
6,754 Legendary potions
42 Mages Wagons

and then after the presale I'll buy 700 Starter Packs.

My total purchase will be 11,144,218 DEC.

For a regular foil Conclave Arcana set we'll need:
Common: 400 cards each (24 cards × 400 = 9,600 total)
Rare: 115 cards each (29 cards × 115 = 3,335 total)
Epic: 46 cards each (14 cards × 46 = 644 total)
Legendary: 11 cards each (15 cards × 11 = 165 total)
Total Regular Foil cards needed: 9,600 + 3,335 + 644 + 165 = 13,744 cards

My purchases will get me to:

Commons +8
Rares -547
Epics +191.2
Legendary +12.04

That's if the RNG works out for me on average. I'm hoping I'll be able to sell the Epics and Legendaries to buy the 547 Rare cards I'll be missing... but I'm sure things will not at all go to plan and so I've still got some DEC available as a buffer if I need it, and if not I'll put it back into the LPs.

I got really lucky because I bought DEC on the 7th of April, and then it exploded in value soon after, so I managed to get myself a nice little discount.

I'm definitely excited to see how Conclave Arcana goes... here is the current purchase stats:

I doubt the presale will sell out, and I imagine Conclave Arcana will probably burn 80% of the general sale, similar to Rebellion, but honestly I think that's fine as long as Splinterlands Inc has enough funds to keep developing...

There is always the chance that marketing or general market conditions might provide an uptick of new players investing in the game, but I personally don't expect that to happen on any noticeable level (new investments, in this economy?!?) but again I'm hoping the current player base and the DAO is enough to support Splinterlands Inc.

I think the timing of my non-playinginess was integral here. It was the start and the middle of the season that I was unavailable, but I was able to spend time on the game at the end of the season... so I was able to jump into Champs III in both leagues, even with the fewer games played.

Very happy with that. It would have been a total bummer to have to struggle through the lower leagues again.

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.

I'm legitimately shocked I was able to grab a similar Glint claim as previous seasons (249K & 277K) which really makes me realize that I do spend so much of the early season losing.

I guess I could pretty much skip the first 7 days of the season and end up with about the same progress and same Glint cache maybe?

I knew disruptions were coming so I left a lot of spare Glint last season...

Alright... let's get to spending it.

This is my current progress towards a max set of Rebellion Reward cards:

I'm still waiting on the set finish to purchase the remaining (Surly Drunk) Legendary cards I need and Common is progressing well but I am a little nervous I'm not going to get enough Rares in time. I wasn't able to max out the Chaos Legion Reward cards but I really am hoping to get the Rebellion Reward cards over the line.

100 Rare Draws for 75000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions:

400 Common Draws for 60000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions:

30 Ultimate Chests for 135000 Glint with 30 Alchemy potions and 30 Legendary potions:

Pretty amazing haul with that Legendary and those Epics. Very happy with that.

150 Major Chests for 150000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions and 0 Legendary potions:

Very, very happy with this haul.

I've got 364,695 Glint remaining, and for the first time ever, I'm going to buy a Batch 2.

100 Rare Draws for 112,500 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions:

I think it's a bit of a gamble buying Batch 2 of anything in the Glint store... but I am worried I might not have time to collect all the Rare cards (although, it's entirely possible the Rebellion Reward cards still have another 6 months...)

I've now got 252,195 Glint for next season.

Yikes... still dropping. I really need to look into this... although since Rebellion cards can be included in Conclave Arcana conflicts (for half their power) I'll probably have to cancel any Rebellion card rentals on the 11th, and I'm sure I won't be the only one.

I finally remembered to claim my SPS just before the season ended... so season 70 has a portion of season 69's SPS in it too.

I've stopped adding to the Stone LP now that I'm swapping my Stone for Iron and Wood to claim Aura for the Midnight potions, but the LP is still doing wonders:
