This Mother's Day has been a day full of small gestures that have made me feel deeply loved, valued and pampered. Early in the morning, my daughter surprised me with a special breakfast that she prepared with all her love. Every detail spoke of her love: the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, eggs, bacon and toast with Nutella and nuts, all delicious. I felt embraced by her dedication.
Like every Sunday, after breakfast we all went for a walk. We made our obligatory stop at Crepes & Waffles. There my husband spoiled me with a delicious cup of Crepes & Waffles ice cream. Temptation is its name and it is a real treat. My daughter, too, gave me a little treat that I thanked with all my heart.
Salud y bienestar para todas las madres de esta hermosa comunidad. Espero que estén pasando un día feliz en compañía de sus hijos. Espero que el amor sea recíproco y los llene de mucha dicha.
Este Día de las Madres ha sido un día lleno de pequeños gestos que me han hecho sentir profundamente amada, valorada y consentida. Desde temprano, mi hija me sorprendió con un desayuno especial que preparó con todo su cariño. Cada detalle hablaba de su amor: el aroma del café recién hecho, huevitos, tocineta y tostadas con Nutella y nueces, todo delicioso. Me sentí abrazada por su dedicación.
Como todos los domingos, después del desayuno salimos todos a caminar. Hicimos nuestra parada obligatoria en Crepes & Waffles. Allí mi esposo me consintió con una deliciosa copa de helado de Crepes & Waffles. Tentación es su nombre y es una verdadera delicia. Mi hija, también, me dio un regalito que agradecí con todo mi corazón.
The afternoon passed calmly, between memories, many messages of affection and the warmth of a home where I know I am loved. To close this Mother's Day celebration with a flourish, my son-in-law is preparing a pasticho for dinner, all made by him. I know this is a laborious preparation, which requires patience and a lot of love, so I deeply appreciate his gesture. Surely the pasticho will be delicious as it always is, but beyond this, what I really appreciate is the effort he puts into making it, thinking of me, wanting to please me, showing his affection with his actions.
Today, I feel that all the affection I have sown over the years has blossomed in this family that surrounds me, that takes care of me and that celebrates me not only as a mother, but as a woman, as a person. It is a beautiful, intimate and sincere Mother's Day, one of those that are treasured and kept in memory. I can only be grateful today and always.
La tarde transcurrió con calma, entre recuerdos, muchos mensajes de afecto y la calidez de un hogar donde sé que soy querida. Para cerrar con broche de oro esta celebración del Día de las Madres, mi yerno está preparando para la cena un pasticho, todo hecho por él. Sé que esta es una preparación laboriosa, que requiere paciencia y mucho amor, por eso valoro profundamente su gesto. Seguro el pasticho quedará delicioso como siempre lo hace, pero más allá de esto, lo que realmente aprecio es el esfuerzo que pone en hacerlo, pensando en mí, queriendo agradarme, demostrando con acciones su cariño.
Hoy, siento que todo el cariño que he sembrado a lo largo de los años ha florecido en esta familia que me rodea, que me cuida y que me celebra no solo como madre, sino como mujer, como persona. Es un Día de las Madres hermoso, íntimo y sincero, de esos que se atesoran y se guardan en la memoria. No puedo más que estar agradecida hoy y siempre.
