A propósito de la iniciativa
Impulsar tu emprendimiento en los días festivos, quiero compartir mi experiencia para el festivo del Día de las Madres.
Este año quise aprovechar la celebración del Día de la Madre para darle un impulso especial a mis emprendimientos, así que me puse manos a la obra con mucho entusiasmo, creatividad y cariño. Empecé por diseñar un detalle tejido pensado especialmente para las mamás: una macetita con flores tejidas a mano, acompañada de un corazón tejido que le daba ese toque dulce, especial y tierno que yo imaginaba que muchas personas buscarían para regalar a sus seres queridos.
Además, preparé un flyer digital y lo compartí en varios grupos de emprendedores en los que participo. En estos espacios siempre hay una energía colaborativa muy bonita, y varias personas me ayudaron a difundir la información. Algunos hicieron repost, otros me escribieron para felicitarme, y varios comenzaron a hacerme preguntas interesadas en adquirir el detalle para sus madres, abuelas o tías.
Fue realmente emocionante ver cómo la idea fue tomando forma y ganando alcance. Recibí varios pedidos, y aunque no fueron tantos como me hubiera gustado, cada uno me llenó de alegría porque sabía que ese pequeño regalo llevaba un pedacito de mí. Muchas personas valoraron el tiempo invertido, la estética y la ternura del detalle.

Apropos of the initiative
Boosting your entrepreneurship on holidays, I want to share my experience for the Mother's Day holiday.
This year I wanted to take advantage of the celebration of Mother's Day to give a special boost to my ventures, so I got down to work with a lot of enthusiasm, creativity and love. I started by designing a knitted detail specially thought for moms: a little pot with hand-knitted flowers, accompanied by a knitted heart that gave it that sweet, special and tender touch that I imagined many people would look for to give to their loved ones.
In addition, I prepared a digital flyer and shared it in several groups of entrepreneurs in which I participate. In these spaces there is always a very nice collaborative energy, and several people helped me spread the word. Some made repost, others wrote me to congratulate me, and several began to ask me questions interested in acquiring the detail for their mothers, grandmothers or aunts.
It was really exciting to see how the idea was taking shape and gaining reach. I received several orders, and although there were not as many as I would have liked, each one filled me with joy because I knew that this small gift had a little piece of me in it. Many people appreciated the time invested, the aesthetics and the tenderness of the detail.
Lo más bonito es que a raíz de compartir flyers y videos en los estados de mi WhatsApp, en las historias y el feed de mi instagram, surgieron nuevas oportunidades. Algunas personas que me escribieron interesadas en los tejidos me preguntaron si dictaba clases. Eso me hizo pensar que podía ir más allá del producto terminado, compartiendo también lo que sé. Así fue como nació la idea de empezar con clases presenciales. Ya tengo varios interesados, y pronto comenzaré con estos encuentros en los que espero no solo enseñar, sino también tejer nuevas amistades y conexiones.
Esta iniciativa de dar clases no surgió de la nada. Desde hace unos meses, he estado dictando un curso gratuito de tejido en la biblioteca de mi comunidad, y esa experiencia ha servido como un trampolín para mis nuevos proyectos. Ha sido muy enriquecedor, y al mismo tiempo, ha funcionado como una especie de vitrina para lo que hago. Muchas personas que han participado en los talleres me han recomendado, y gracias a eso, el emprendimiento ha tenido más visibilidad.
Así que aprovechar una fecha especial como el Día de la Madre, sumado al poder de las redes sociales, los espacios comunitarios y el cariño puesto en cada creación, me permitió dar un nuevo impulso a mis emprendimientos.
Estoy feliz, agradecida y motivada para seguir creciendo y creando.
The nicest thing is that as a result of sharing flyers and videos on my WhatsApp statuses, stories and instagram feed, new opportunities arose. Some people who wrote me interested in the fabrics asked me if I taught classes. That made me think that I could go beyond the finished product, sharing also what I know. That's how the idea of starting in-person classes was born. I already have several people interested, and soon I will start with these meetings in which I hope not only to teach, but also to make new friendships and connections.
This initiative to give classes did not come out of the blue. For a few months now, I have been teaching a free knitting course at my community library, and that experience has served as a springboard for my new projects. It has been very enriching, and at the same time, it has served as a kind of showcase for what I do. Many people who have participated in the workshops have recommended me, and thanks to that, entrepreneurship has had more visibility.
So taking advantage of a special date like Mother's Day, added to the power of social networks, community spaces and the affection put into each creation, allowed me to give a new impulse to my ventures.
I am happy, grateful and motivated to continue growing and creating.
