The first time I go to Kuala Lumpur in 2013 if I'm not mistaken. At the time, I only have one semester scholarship money save up for a trip to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore with my cousin. It turn out i'm very able when it comes to save my money for traveling, LOL.
At the time, my aunt studying here, get a Master's in Engineering and she eventually graduated for 10 years ago. So, we did not have to worry about rent for a hotel because we sleep in her spacious apartment. Luckily, we also explore Kuala Lumpur with her. It's understandable, master's degree students don't have much free time for traveling, right?
I remember that route so clearly, around Cultural Walk Kuala Lumpur, which I actually re-visit now. It reminded me of that time, when all those memorable photos were lost because my laptop broke and I didn't save all the files. Burnt to the ground, not even a single thing remained, I didn't even post it on Facebook... what a shame :D
Now I'm back at Cultural Walk, get various places, but unfortunately, the building all under renovation :( I don't even know which angle to take photos from so the renovations aren't visible to the camera. Unfortunately, this is the best I can do please understand.. But, it's nice to be able to walk here, and it's a beautiful journey...
The Cultural Walk is close to each other, is like.. the National Textile Museum, which is not far from the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. The distance is only like cross the road, with a distance of maybe 30 meters between the buildings.
The buildings look very beautiful even though under renovation.. What's being changed? Or are they just reinforcing the old buildings to keep them as they are? After all, this is part of the Commonwealth of Malaysia, a city center that have been a source of pride from the past to the present.
There are four building (the Old Central Railways, the National Textile Museum, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, and another, the Old Chartered Bank Building). The four buildings face each other, form a square separated by a busy highway vehicle.
The renovation work will probably be complete by the end of the year, but unfortunately, I cannot even enter any of the buildings because they can't only be viewed from afar. Except for the national textile museum, which is open to visitors. But at that time, no visitors were allowed because its under renovation. It's really so saad..

Hi! Let me introduce myself, its me Wita.
I'm just a woman who wants to write whatever's on my mind. I really enjoy cooking, occasionally traveling, and doing whatever I like. I want to live like a bird flying freely in nature. But I know I'm only human. So, I can only write freely like a bird that can fly with its two wings.
