Skunks come in a lot of different patterns then a single stripe down the middle.
It began with sketch as it always does for me.
Figuring out the pattern was fun.
I filled in the dark first.
I put the screen in grey scale to see the difference between the black and white better.
It took a bit of fooling around to get the fuzzy effect down. I also at this point realize the face shape is all wrong.
I mostly fixed the head, and am over all pretty happy with the furry texture.
At this point I realized I somehow forgot to do the tail
Then with the tail, some more details and a signature, we done!
