Bracelets, collars, keychains, leashes and leads, and so much more can be made using a little craft called macrame. I love using paracord for this, because of the rich and beautiful colors i can find. I also only use USA made military spec 550 paracord, which helps give jobs to folks right here in our beloved country. Thats a big deal for me, I try to buy local or usa made whenever I am able.

When braided properly, paracord is very strong and will withstand tremendous force. I love how strength and beauty can be captured with just a simple knot.

I've made collars for my dogs, and what i learned for these was to use a bigger bickle than you think, because the braids do become a little think.

I also like to make slip rings on the handle side, that way it can be a handle, a wrist loop, or i can use it as a loop around the goats when they are teathered for the day. All i do is tie a half hitch at the ring to keep it from tightening and i can attach the clip to their lead. It was a neat dual propose idea i thought of while making them, and thought other folks would like it too!

I hope you enjoyed what i shared today and stay well steemians!
