Gouache Landscape: A CALM MEDOW BENEATH THE MOUNTAINS 🍀

Hi guys
Today I’m sharing a gouache painting that I just completed - this peaceful meadow scene with a mountain backdrop and glistening water pools with beautiful with flowers.

Materials Used

• Paint -gouache(himi)
• Paper - 300gsm cold pressed
• Brushes- round brush, liner brush

Step-by-step-

• Sketch and tape down the paper

• Sky- using a blend of white and blue I blocked in the sky.
  

• Clouds- with a fluffy brush and thick white gouache I painted the clouds.

• mountains- paint mountains with muted purples and greys with minimal detailing

• meadows and reflection pool - layer the green meadows with different shades of green. Paint the pools with reflection of trees and mountains.

• flowers- add scattered white flowers throughout the meadows. this adds life to the painting.
