Jasaan is known as rich in natural water supply such as waterfalls,springs,river and it is one of the most visited tourist spots in misamis oriental especially during summer seasons.
Today I will take you to a tour to Sagpulon Waterfalls which is the pride of Jasaan Misamis Oriental.It is a 2 hour ride from the heart of Cagayan de Oro City.
We went to Hinaguan Nature park for a camping and since were nearby to Sagpulon Falls destination we took for granted to visit to the waterfalls.
Our plan is to commute from Agora Terminal going to Solana Jasaan the road going to Hinaguan and Sagpulon.But my sister offers to rent their car and it was a food idea so the whole family can come and join us.
I rent a car for 1,500 pesos and we travel from Cagayan de Oro around 2pm in the afternoon for an overnight camping in the nature park.
In the next morning is the plan to Sagpulon falls.estimated 30 minutes to travel by car going to the falls.Upon arriving at the entrance gate of the falls there is a ticket entrance fee of 25 pesos per person.
As I remember I spend 350 pesos for the 14 family members.Its much fun to travel with the family so even if I spend to bring them tl travel for free at least I enjoy spending together with them.
After our entrance payment we proceed our way going to the falls we encounter a mini bridge its a bit hight but its safe as its made of steel.It was really fun coz the kids are jumping and running in the bridge to scare others who are scared of the bridge it was a bit challenging though.
Before I proceed to our most exciting part of our travel adventure with my family let me give you the instructions on how to get to Sagpulon Falls.
How to get to Sagpulon Waterfalls from Cagayan de Oro :
-first you need to take a bus or jeepney at Agora terminal Bus station going to Solana Jasaan Misamis Oriental.
-the transportation fee from Agora to Solana Jasaan costs 60 pesos per pesos and just tell the driver to you by at Solana the road going to Hinaguan and Sagpulon Falls.
-At the entrance road of Solana there are habal habal motorcycle riders that can take you to Sagpulon falls and
We had a few steps going to the main exciting part to witness the majestic waterfalls.The enjoyment that I feel is extra ordinary especially with my family.
It is my first time to visit a waterfalls nearby in our city just a 2 hour ride from the city and I am so gratefull for this another amazing travel experience.
