We are have a longer bank holiday weekend due to Labour Day on the 1st May and lots of places have special events on.
For those who don't know: In Britain public holidays are usually off the Monday of the following weekend and not the actual day.
The Scouts Club in St Neots had approached Steve's work for sponsorship. They didn't jump to the opportunity, but we did.
We played there on Friday and it was a blast. Fine weather made for a very pleasant evening indeed and there was an amazing crowd having a laugh, food and drink.
Various beers and ciders where on offer and we got some lovely pizza thrown in.

Wegen des Tags Der Arbeit am 1. Mai haben wir ein verlängertes Wochenende, und an vielen Orten finden besondere Veranstaltungen statt.
Für alle, die es noch nicht wissen: In Großbritannien sind Feiertage in der Regel am Montag des darauffolgenden Wochenendes und nicht am eigentlichen Feiertag feiertagsfrei.
Der Pfadfinderclub in St. Neots hatte Steve wegen Sponsorings angefragt. Sie haben die Gelegenheit nicht genutzt, wir aber schon.
Wir haben am Freitag dort gespielt, und es war ein Riesenspaß. Das schöne Wetter sorgte für einen wirklich schönen Abend, und es war eine tolle Menge da, die viel lachte, speiste und trank.
Es gab verschiedene Biere und Cider, und dazu gab es noch eine leckere Pizza.
