Hello, greetings to all. This evening we celebrate the special day for our little boy, Boris, who has turned 4 years old! We had a fun and easy pool party, just as he wanted. He talked about his birthday for weeks, and his smile was as big as the sun when the day came, and the weather was perfect. Boris came out wearing his new shark swimsuit. His face lit up when we went down to the pool, and all the cousins and grandparents, aunts, uncles, were there too. And he asked me! “Mama, is the pizza here yet?” “Not yet,” I said with a smile. “But everybody is here for you already!” Avysha, Zuriel, Seraphina, their mom, and dad. And all say hello, “Happy Birthday, Boris!” they all said together.

Boris is so happy! He gave them big hugs and ran to the pool. The kids jumped in with loud splashes. They laughed, kicked their feet, and threw balls at each other. Even Grandpa came out and sat by the pool, dipping his feet in the cool water. Next, it was time for some simple pool games. First, they played Ring Toss with floating rings. Then, they did a little Treasure Hunt in the water. We had dropped some shiny plastic coins and small toys in the pool. The kids loved looking for them. Then also play the favorite game, who is the shark? They laughed the whole time. Zuriel won, but she gave way to Boris. “It’s your special day,” she said.

Then, just on time, the pizza arrived at 7 pm. We ordered cheese, pepperoni, and pineapple pizza, chicken overload, and cheese Boris’s favorites. The smell of hot pizza made everyone come running. Boris grabbed a cheesy slice with both hands. And the kids like the sticky drummet my husband cooked, “Yum!” he said with a full mouth. He even made a pizza-like sandwich by putting two slices together! He is a bit messy, but it made everyone laugh. After our pizza dinner by the garden at the pool area, but before we could finish our pizza, I realized that there was lightning from the sky and we could hear thunder, we quickly went up to our house and continued the party, and it’s cake time. And he is happy because his favorite cake is chocolate-flavored, as he likes chocolate, so we get it for him. Everyone sang, “Happy Birthday, dear Boris…” “Make a wish!” we said. Boris closed his eyes tightly. He didn’t say his wish out loud, but later he told me, “I wished for Spider-Man shoes.

He blew out all four candles in one big breath. And the youngest sister Doris almost blew out the candle, as always, they like blowing candles and bubbles. As the time is late is already 8:30 pm, the kids want to go back to the pool, but still lightning. They just sat on the balcony and talked about their favorite parts of the party. Avysha liked the water games. Zuriel loved the pizza. Seraphina likes playing with Doris as always if they have their own world. Boris sat on a chair, one last bite of cake in his hand. I sat next to him. “Did you have a good birthday?” I asked. He nodded and gave me a sleepy smile. “Best birthday ever.” I love swimming with cousins, next time, even a birthday party.” And that’s how Boris turned four, with splashes, smiles, and sweet memories. Anyway, his real birthday is May 19, we only celebrate today because everybody is free, no school tomorrow. After all, it's Sunday. We still cut the cake for his real birthday date. He requested for paw patrol cake will see if I can still get the cake for Monday. It's just a simple celebration, but the bonding we always make sure of is priceless, and they will keep it until they grow up. We, as parents we make sure that even if we cannot give expensive things, but the bonding and quality life we make sure have standard.
