When it comes to society as a whole, it is never good when a lot of people come together for a single purpose, even when the purpose seems moral on the surface. Anytime multiple people join the cause, the main purpose of the grouping becomes lost. For example. When you have kids get together to learn, but then make strict laws about what they learn and laws that say they must come together to learn (or in the united states case make it very difficult to be home schooled) you get indoctrination. Its very easy for large corporations to feed information to these masses. When you have large groups of people get together to make laws, again its very easy for large corporations to either pay off lawmakers or lobby to the masses. In turn we get majority vote laws that will always impact the minority. Not that I'm against corporations, I am however against states and state corportism.
