Get EOS.io/distribution with Metamask working again in 3 clicks! (Unexpected end of JSON input)

  1. Click the MetaMask icon in Chrome at the top right. http://i.imgur.com/diNtn4D.png (you may need to click the 3 dots to see it)

  2. Click Ethereum Main Net. If you are using a custom server, click on the same position but it will say custom server.

  3. Select Custom RPC.

  4. Type in: https://mainnet.infura.io (or you can right click that link and select Copy link address if you are lazy) Hit enter (or click save).

There is also the RPC server EOS.io put up, there is PDF instructions here. At the time of writing July 6th 2017, seems it is currently not working. https://eos.io/pdf/EOS_Custom_RPC_Instruction.pdf
