When the last thoughts strike you
When I have truly drifted away
Maybe you feel a sensation true
What you ought to have felt everyday
Don't cry when I am not around
Because death is a step into the fray
Don't cry when I am not around
I am exactly how you left me this way
When you feel I am no more there
It is your heart, it is truly to blame
Maybe you feel a sensation true
But crying selfishly is just lame
Don't cry when I am not around
Maybe I am just a dream away
Don't cry when I am not around
You had never asked me to stay
When you are alone thinking of me
Actually you're sensing a grudge
How you will cope or move on
Don't worry, I won't be around to judge
Don't cry when I am not around
I am in your thoughts night and day
Don't cry when I am not around
You will forget all of me someday
