Viscri a small village in the heart of Trnsylvania is today a Unesco World Heritage Site with breathtaking landscapes, history and tradition. The well-known colorfully painted houses of Viscri, the Saxon fortified church, the charming architectureand the handmade textiles and ceramics are on show in an exhibition. For many centuries, the Saxon fortified church, dating back to the 13th century, has been a meeting place where locals come together for celebrations, church and cultural events. Even today, it's still going well and the efforts to promote tourism are helping the village to keep growing and preserve its heritage. As some of you know, I love traveling to Romania, so I still have many unpublished photos in my archive. Here are a few from last summer.

One remarkable person who has promoted this village and its heritage is King Charles III of Great Britain. He has also acquired a house here and inside is presenting an nice exhibition to visit at the moment.
Here a few views inside the
Saxon fortified church exhibition.

It was a beautiful peacefully trip with magical atmosphere, known for its organic farming with fresh local tasty food.
Have a beautiful day!
