I have long been a proponent of actual commerce on the blockchain... actually dating back to before I started this crypto blogging gig.
I always felt that crypto would be a gateway to borderless trustless commerce, bypassing international banking and all the hassles of money transfers between countries that "don't play well together."
Sadly, the Cryptosphere has mostly become yet another circus of Wall Street Greed, where the emphasis is not on using crypto to make money, but where crypto — itself — is what makes the money.
Anyway... having been quite vocal about the idea of peer-to-peer trading on the blockchain, I was excited to see that @peakd introduced a "Store" feature, integrated directly into the same interface we use for blogging!
But here's the thing: It's one thing to always be asking for a particular feature and talking about "how great" it would be to have that feature... but that doesn't do much good unless you actually step up to the plate and use the feature when it becomes available.
Because otherwise you're basically just an "armchair quarterback," right?
PeakD Stores:
So anyway, if you're an artist, craftsperson or creator of some kind, I strongly encourage you to check out the PeakD Stores page and perhaps even add some of your own items to the mix!
Because if you truly support blockchain commerce, the best way to show it is to actually participate!
And this is also a bit of an announcement that Alchemystones now has its own store page! I haven't gotten very far with adding items yet, but I definitely plan to add more, as I go along!
If you're interested in exploring further, I also encourage you to read the introductory post when you get a chance.
In the next few days, I'm going to add a more through out-of-box experience/tutorial post, once I get a better hang of things!
Other Productivity Bits
I have managed to get started with a bit of a painting routine this year — including regular work update posts on Mondays — but I have been rather slow to get to my (many!) listings on Etsy in need of updating... along with the dozens of items I have discovered that I have in inventory but are not listed for sale anywhere.
Today, I finally managed to gather my focus enough to start on the process!
It's rather laborious, because it includes product photography, photo processing, then creating the actual text for listings and finally doing the actual uploads to the Etsy website.
I have to admit that the PeakD Store feature actually helped motivate me to get started on the process... 11 new items listed today!
And that's about all I have for this weekend update!
Thank You!

Because I am trying to make some semblance of income — a part time living, even — I now add this footer to all my posts, in the hope that someone, somewhere, might decide to take a further look at my work, and perhaps consider supporting independent art.
Thank you, in advance, for your consideration and support!
