Hello friends and members of Hive Community, it's my great pleasure to join you here. I am Elvis Nwodu. I am a Nigerian and I currently reside in Lagos state. I can speak Igbo, Yoruba, English and the Nigerian Pidgin. I am an Educator, a Montessorian, a Realtor and a car seller. I can multi-task and get the job done for you as quickly as possible. I have a dedicated Instagram handle for my realtor adverts and car sales. In Nigeria the cost of existence keeps spiraling up every day. It becomes imperative that everyone has to do several things as possible at a time in other to be able to meet up with the rising costs of the billing system here.
** How I came to know about Hive**
I heard about #hive first time through a friend @beauty197, l remember that she was very enthusiastic about Hive Dapp and overtime we have a series of discussions about the hive community which really got my interest and also made me to ensure that I will also try my best to explore the opportunities here. When I tried signing up on the platform for the first time l had a hard time but through her patience and explanations l was able to come through with this. And finally I am here today with her help and that of @misterfabb who also sent me a series of messages detailing the essence of this platform. I came to understand that It's not an instant cash out scheme.
** The Best of Crypto**
It's a blogging platform that pays you for your creativity.
You work hard to make creative posts and earn votes. Those votes are received as a crypto currency known as 'Hive'. You can always sell it on any crypto trading platform or you can power up your Hive to increase the density of your account and do more. On the other hand, you can power up your hive, and store them in a place where they work for you and earn more hive for you.
It's just like trading. When hive is powered up, it's called 'Hive power'.
The amount of votes you receive, your chances of getting higher attention from the big fishes of the site, and the weight of hive people receive from your own vote is all dependent on the amount of hive power you have.

I personally found #OCD and the Hive Community on my own while I was exploring communities.
