This is an unusual design i captured this morning from one of the big casinos in San Bernardino. This place is one of the best place in this area.
This casino is ‘Agua Caliente’. Here is the history of Agua Caliente Resort and Casino. On 1955, after the General Leasing Act of 1955 was passed by Congress, the all-women's Agua Caliente Tribal Council, which consist of Vyola Ortner, Gloria Gillette, Eileen Miguel, Dora Prieto and LaVerne Saubel, has leased the 8-acre site property, which was located in the heart of the Agua Caliente reservation, to Samuel Banowit and Palm Springs Spa Inc.
The result of this partnership led to the construction of the multi-faceted project, including a 30,000-square-foot health center built directly on the same spot of the ancient hot mineral springs, and a 131-room hotel. The over-all project was completed in 1963, with a total cost of $4.2 million. During that time, the hotel was one of the tallest buildings in the city. William F. Cody, Wexler & Harrison, Parker-Zehnder & Associates and Philip Koenig of Chicago were commissioned to design and plan this multimillion-dollar project. After several years of surveys had been done by geologists and engineers to facilitate scientific control and application of the 104-degree therapeutic waters on this historical site, then, construction was started.
