To be different

In society there are marked stereotypes, such as ways of behavior that people assume to adapt to a group; maybe to fit in and not be treated as different. What a difficult situation that many or most have to go through, constantly fighting to be accepted or suffering ridicule and rejection on many occasions.

I think that at some point in life we feel affected by criticism, especially in childhood or even worse in adolescence, specifically in schools. Unfortunately, there are fashions and social classes, they still see who is skinnier or fatter, the type of clothes you wear and the monster called bullying persists.

Over the years they have released great films dedicated to being people who are separated, forgotten and even despised. I have seen many and although they hurt, I cry and suffer for up to several days, I always have a reflection that makes me value life more, what I am and what I have.

Being the case of the unforgettable Forrest Gump for me, super special and mocked at the same time for being so different. But I particularly saw that this did not affect him because in the end he was so happy and lived life as he wanted; giving many life lessons. Recently, that is to say, it's only been a few hours since I saw the movie CODA: signs of the heart, and well, I jammed.

I mention it while writing and my heart is oppressed, I felt it from beginning to end; it's a tremendous movie. There was union and in turn dependence on a family, because they showed that they could not live apart, nothing really common, starting because three of its four members were deaf and dumb. Inevitably, they have to face the society I spoke about at the beginning.

Although it was even better in a certain way not to hear so many insults or continuous mockery, sometimes silence favored them. But it was not the case of the only daughter who, if she listened and felt all the rejection for living with a different family, was also strong and brave, being the interpreter for her parents and brother, her tireless defender until she forgot to live herself. .

She wanted to sing, her only dream. Not ironic, that she sang like angels and that her family couldn't hear her, that broke my soul. But her bond was so strong that it united them that in the end they decided to support her, accepting that they had to separate so that she could take flight and go after her dreams.

They understood that it was time for her to live her life and they could fend for themselves. Love could do everything, but above all understanding. They were different, but much more valuable and great than anyone.
